Well, I live in Portlland...sooooooo...

But honestly, I don't think the artist did a bad job of re-designing them. They reflect the style of the period, and generally kinda show their character in their outfits. Except for Tommy, he's just boring vanilla. But yeah, Phil and Lil are the ones I particularly like. They're pretty identical at first glance, but when you look them over they have slight differences just like their outfits in the show (the original).
Different colored shoes.
Different styles of arm tattoos.
She has a necklace, he has a wallet chain/band.
Hell, even though they have hipster hair-styles, she's wearing hers down and him up. It's kinda neat design actually. If only for those two.

Tommy, blah.
Chuckie, we get it he's dorky! if they'd left out the tie, it would have had some style.
Angelica just looks like what I'd imagine her mom must have looked like in her early 20's. There's no sign of individuality, of any sort of personality change, nothing.

However I will say they're all drawn well. Proportions good, weight distribution (how they're balanced on their feet), and the body-interactions between Angie and Chuck seem natural enough. That's not really that easy to do.

Finally, did you notice that the background is a play on the title cards from the first season of the original show?

All in all, I think this gets more hate than it really deserves.
